 LMHPCO will hospice the final quarterly palliative care educational and support meetings for Palliative Care Supergroup members in 2023 via Zoom from Noon until 1PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
The agenda for this meeting will focus on

Presenter: Dr. Thomas Morel practices palliative medicine at Ochsner Health. Dr. Morel received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Zoology in 2002, and medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Following this, he completed his internship and residency in Emergency Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He completed his fellowship in palliative medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Morel is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He has been on staff at Ochsner since March of 2019 and practicing medicine since 2007. Dr. Morel's expertise is in providing and coordinating excellent patient centered care to both patients with serious illness and the families that support them.
